Cash Flow

The Proshare Bitcoin Strategy ETF invests in Bitcoin futures contracts. It requires a minimum investment of $2500 and charges an expense ratio of 0.95%.So far, U.S. investors don’t have many crypto mutual fund options because mutual funds need to be registered with the SEC and are subject to its regulations. The regulatory agency has rejected many crypto funds over the years, citing the potential for fraud, volatility, and lack of investor protections in the crypto market.The SEC has indicated it would be more receptive to futures-based crypto funds, and several Bitcoin ETFs were approved toward the end of 2021. Like Bitcoin Strategy ProFund, these ETFs attempt to track Bitcoin’s results using futures contracts.As far as funds that buy cryptocurrencies directly, no options have been approved in the U.S. yet. For now, the only options are futures-based funds.
